Mr. D.K.Bose and the briefcase!

Life of Mr. Bose was quite simple, he was working 9 to 6 to take care of all the three generations of his family, i.e. his parents, his wife and their children. He would go to office in the morning with his black briefcase decorated with nice stickers flashing his name "Mr D K Bose" (he could not put his full name because there were so many E's in it). His work was sufficiently challenging to keep him engaged for 8 hours. He would empty his tiffin box in lunch time and have a serious discussion on Bollywood, Politics, Cricket, etc. And mind it, he was quite witty in those discussions too, he would crack a nice joke on exponentially decreasing size of dresses in Bollywood or how naive the young generation is. He remembers the day when he sang a nice old song of Mukesh and everybody appreciated it and congratulated him on completing 10 years on the job.

And how time's changed, those were the days when people liked him, talked to him with respect, consulted him for suggestions. And now, not a single person look at him without a malicious glee in his eyes. People around him just cannot control their mirth, some even pull a taunt on his half-moon. He always feel the murmur of people around him whispering that song, the song that changed his life or shall we say ruined it. He does not dare to participate in any cultural events, he didn't even attend the parent's day function in his son's school. Each day of his life starts with a curse for the song. Once, he thought of suing the producers of the movie but gave up when he heard his lawyer chuckle on his name.

Anyways life goes on and now he has adapted the new nickname that his colleagues has given him - "Forest" (he finds it milder that "Run D.K.Bose Run"). Sometimes he makes fun of himself and try to jell in the young mass! He still feeds his three generations, the only thing that has changed in his life is the briefcase, now it does not carry his old badge of glistening letters : "Mr D K Bose".

Its been a year since I wrote my last post on this blog(I have been writing on Rubydubee fairly regularly). Recently I have been introduced to IndiBlogger, Its a very active and huge forum and community of bloggers. Since then I have been reading lots of blog posts by various bloggers on various topics. And somehow I remembered this blog that I have started with so much enthusiasm in my college days(and written some posts that i read and laugh now!). So I have decided to regularly write posts on this blog as well(I hope I do keep this spirit).

The 25th Hour

Software industries are growing day by day. Now if we think a bit more on this, what does it mean by "Growing". Well they just add something new to their existing awesome software.

So i went mad some day and i thought about the "world". Why does the world does not grow? uh? that was wierd... but lets just imagine that if god would want to add something new to his existing software(?), what would he do?

You got it(that doesn't mean you are kinda brainy or something).He will surely think about having an extra hour.

So let's say GOD want to have a new 25th hour developed with latest technologies(or something), what are the features he should give?(show your System engineering talents in comments ;))

Now as I am the one writing this, I'll have the honour to ask for following features -

First and the most important thing is "add this hour to the night and not to the day" cuz i don't want to spend another hour in company.
May be if you can "Mute" everything(not people) for this time, it will be really cool cuz i seriously want some peace of mind.
Let people talk only truth for this hour, it will be interesting to hear some confessions. (Atleast all the fake people will be identified).
I don't want all those boring people around me who make me cry, atleast for this special hour.
Let "innovation and creativity" flow through the air, and make this whole world like "Silicon Valley".

Funny Lift algorithm

I was observing the lifts in our tower, at night they seem to follow a very funny and innovative algorithm.
So lets think about it and compare it with traditional algorithm. So first comes the "Nomenclature":
The new algorithm : Funny algorithm(FA)
The traditional one : Not so Funny algorithm(NFA).
Note : no rights reserved. You can use these names wherever you want.

The NFAs generally are zero logic algorithms, i.e whenever you press the button the nearest lift will come. So in worst case the distance traveled by the lift is twice the total number of floors.

Now how FA works is : say there are three lifts in a 6 floor building so in "idle" case the lifts will stay at particular floors only say 0, 2 and 4. Now that means when i want to go to 0th floor from 3rd floor, the lift at 2nd floor will come and drop me to 0th floor and then as an obedient servant will go again to 2nd floor.....Howzzat(I have seen it).
In this case also the worst case distance traveled is twice the total number of floors but what is best is the waiting time is saved for the person who uses it. :)

SO that is really cool...

I: OOPS! yeah! really!

So moral : May be I am not don solely! but there is no meaning to DON without me... whoa Howzzat?

Select into ChatZilla

Doing lots of SQL stuff these days. Playing with tables and chairs[:)]. If you have seen my twitter posts, you might have found my twit about a problem that i came across in SQL. I was finding a way to create a local copy of table which can be updated without touching the original table. Now here local copy doesnt mean the copy on client side! otherwise i might have used SESSIONS. But say i want to have the same copy distributed over to a group of users! ugh...

Now there was(i first thought) one solution,that is to create a view, but i read somewhere(not sure?) that when we update(not alter) the view, i.e when we update the data in the view, the original table is also updated. I haven't found any good document about this. And havent bothered to try it myself.

Then i thought why not ask to people who better know these things... and where these geeks can be found (forums, nowadays are full of marketting), so the only other place is IRC, so installed chatZilla for the first time and tried to chat through IRC and there i got the real answer!..

We need to COPY the table into a new one every time we need it, and then just drop it when the work is over! done!... But its not as easy(!its time consuming). so i got a command "SELECT INTO". which can copy my table into a new one (even in other database). But it was not working, i was like...Eh... WHY?? then i found that mysql doesn't support it and so i got another one "INSERT INTO ... SELECT ..." (a more simple one than i thought!).. It worked!...

So the moral of the story is whenever you got problem go "SELECT INTO CHATZILLA".

Just moved on to a new flat a week ago ... feeling very free ... we have a net TATA connection here... so thought just learn some new things... and meanwhile, a friend(AB)(dont want to mention name without permission) came to me and said he is building a community website in AJAX, and i said, "i would like to help"... so i started doing this ... and thus had a revision on AJAX... the website, thus consists of only one page(the main index page)... and all the data is gathered using AJAX... [have you ever seen any big community website on a single page?]... its a must watch!...but haven't yet completed...
I dont know how many of you know AJAX? but let me tell you its easier than anything you might have learnt (comparable to such vast use). Again working on rss reader(AJAX of course)... thinking of using it in COEPBlogger. I had done lot of work on COEPBlogger but lost it during shifting...not a big deal...Koi ghai nahi hai... cya..

My corner

I was at farewell party organized by College and listening to the song "i'm gonna miss this place". And just thought "ya i will!". Eh but not the college as i can come at anytime here. But i will surely miss the place where i'm sitting now,the corner of my room. Its the place where i sit the whole night and do lots of fun. I don't think i can do that later in future, but OK the CHANGE is required and i will surely find another way of enjoying the life, may be a lappy.
The last semester is been full of fun only, this is the time when i tried lots of different things too, like music, gym but finally i'm back to original(TP whole night).
Anyways Champions league is on fire, Man U vs Barca will be great to watch. Fight between the two magicians cristiano and messi will be the center point. waiting for the day.

B-industry's got great future ahead

This year industry has seen some new but talented singers and actors and both reaching sky high.. lets know about some of them...

Singers

If you dont know this guy, you are an extremist about singing..
He is the find of A.R.Rehman, the hot favorite for this year's best playback singer award.... Rashid Ali, With his song "Kabhi Kabhi Aditi" topping the charts. He was actually a Guitar player for AR but then suddenly AR realized that his voice has got really attractive modulations.And this way he become a star.

Benny Dayal is well known to many of us... He has sung lot of superhit songs in this year...like "Nazre milana" from Jaane tu..., "tu meri dost hain" from Yuvvraaj and many more....BTW He is a star in south..

Toshi ... Singing couple of songs in Raaz 2, one("Mahiyaa") of it is becoming very famous, but he is basically very famous in all talent show viewers...

One more King is here..
He is my favorite, Raja Hasan...This year was the great success for him, after winning "Ek se Badhkar ek" and "Ustadon ka ustad" and singin some bollywood songs.. I think he will be a big name in Promotional songs and jingles like Kailasa... Guys if you like Kailash Kher then you must hear Raja too, i think u will love him..

Actors

The one child we all know , a great upcoming actor, surely he will have a great future ahead in acting and i wish for him.

Aamir may not have got big success but the actor Rajeev Khandelwal has got a big break from this movie.

Of course he is the one, the path breaker... now after Himesh, who has acted after being a famous singer and music director... this guy has made a courageous work by singing and acting after being a famous Director. And now his show "Oye it's Friday" is doing great job..

Guys that's not all, i have put some names that came to my mind... do tell if i missed any really talented newcomer...

Dogs and Engineers not allowed!!

From past two weeks i have been trying to get some good call centre job to have some extra bucks in hand, but things are just not working, cuz everytime i visit a call centre, i can very easily see an imaginary notice showing "Dogs and Engineers not allowed!"..

Then i tried to fool them out by pretending like i am a very dumb guy, who left studies after HSC, but again when i show my marksheet.. its all shit again...93%... man how can a person leave study after getting such an UNACCEPTABLE scores... damn its totally messed up. I am feeling like why the hell have i scored such marks in HSC ( When there was no need due to CET)... and now i am getting how unbearable feeling it is, when you are sure that you will be rejected from the job but still you are going for the interview...

Anyways.... "try, try, never cry," "A never DIE spirit" of an Engineer have to be maintained... but one thing i am feeling lucky of, is that i am in COEP and i have got placement... otherwise it would have been a big mess..

So guys, hope you had fun in ur vacations... now its time to come back to regular routine (Khana Pina Mauj manana).

Exams on?

No no... don't get it like.. "i have written this post way before and publishing it now", I really have exam on 21st December and i am working on it pretty well. I am giving a music exam and currently mugging all the ragas . And now i am really convinced how easy engineering is (at least we can pass the subject in one night!!).

Anyways lots of things happened in these days, mainly terror attack, which was the biggest news in the recent times. Terrorists directly entered in the city and firing anywhere they want, holding police, NSG and Marcos for so longer time, That was a terrible thing, a question mark on Indian security. I couldn't even understand what was police doing at the time they(terrorists) were living in Taj and working there(and i dont know what the hell was the staff doing ), i am surprised, if they cant even find out, who is indian and who is pakistani, how they are gonna stop all this nonsense. But one thing is clear Mumbai will not stand against the govt for this cuz they are of very famous resillient nature and they will forget this in a month( or a week may be).

The holidays are really going easy and i am enjoying it thoroughly, mainly the purpose to stay here was to deal with the project but havent yet started anything. looking forward to starting the work in this week.

Mindspark over

I must say MindSpark'08 was really the biggest technical event in Pune, The response was huge, in those 3 days i havent seen any free place, everything was like really crowded.

And the best example was Webdesign workshop - 500+ registration, can you imagine? 500+ registration, i dont know how it happened. So we have to divide them in two workshops -

The first was taken on Dreamweaver by Anshul Abhang from DSK Infotech.

And the second one by Me and Anuprit:

The workshop included Joomla Demo by Anuprit and Ruby on Rails by me, now the best thing is this workshop was a paid workshop - 100 per head. I had never thought that someone will pay 100 Rs for our session. Students enjoyed session very much and i had a very good experience teaching such a good audience.

Something about Spidey:

Spidey may not have got lot of public but whoever 40+ participated, were good, and soome were really good. The problem statement was high standard, i am thinking of designing the site with some improvement in the problem statement.

If anyone have attended Spidey please let me know if you have any interest in working for this web application(you can anytime comment).

Marshall Bruce Mathers III

I have always loved to write about my favorites and written much about Cristiano. Now its time to write about the next, Marshall Bruce Mathers III (dont know?) or we call him Eminem on stage, also known as (the another) real slimshady.

I am a big fan of his Rap (especially Lose yourself), and his movie 8 mile is worth watching. Eminem was 14 when he started rapping under the handle M&M, His first album was Infinte. But his biggest success was The Marshall Mathers LP which was a record selling album in 2000 beating Snoop Dogg and Britney Spears, And the Real Slim Shady was a crack. His song Lose Yourself won the Academy award for the best orginal song of the year. But he was mostly in News due to the album Encore in which he insulted the president of america(you must have seen MOSH).

Well, That was a short story on eminem and his achievements. Enjoy!!

Full on, Rock on!!

Guys i had a blast watching this movie,man. Its just fantastic and i found it more realistic. Gods which actor/producer will think of singing for his movie just for the reason that he is the rockstar in movie(who want to play with money or rather risk). But this guy Farhan has got balls(i am talking abt guts).

A small review-

There are four studs, very dedicated to music , like they want to live the music. They try, they win, but something wrong happens, the only reason is ignorance and personal ego and they just break up, leave their music craze like nothing has happened , and went on to live the life like us(bureaucrats). After nearly ten years (when they were all in 30s well they look too), they somehow meet again and again try and again win. That's all, a small review, but believe me its a powerful story, all guys have done a fantastic job.

Well done!!

Hey guys now dont throw away this post just bcoz it is named ASCII<know naa?>. The last line in my last post was really dumb but it was true, the machine i am using currently has a very serious fault its symbol keys<upper horizontal NUM keys are not working> and guess what now i am understanding the real importance of ASCII values<just bcoz to enter @ symbol i have to press "ALT + 6 + 4"> that's real crazy.

Anyways that's fine atleast i am having some use of my computer engg.

Lots of days went out, i haven't written any post and now today i am writing second, that's great. By the way these days were all very exciting, lots of things happened, some bad,some worse,some even worst but i had a very good time interviewing myself by some crap and ugly companymen, there were days when i was feeling like this is my everyday job to see their haunting faces<atleast more scary than movies like Darna jaroori hai :D>. But then some real good looking angels come to the resque and i got placed in AVAYA<congrats>.

Cristiano Ronaldo was voted as the best player in the Champions League last season (quite rightly) as well as the best Forward.

Whilst the Champions League draw for this year’s tournament took place, the Player Awards were given out, with Ronaldo topping the Attacker role, and competing with Chelsea’s Petr Cech (Goalie of the Year), John Terry (Defender of the Year somehow) and Frank Lampard (Midfielder of the Year) for the top prize.

It means "My favorite player" - Cristiano Ronaldo.

Of Course he will be the player to watch in this series and Portugal has a definite chance of winning if he succeed. So whether it is Champions League or MirrorXI (Fantasy game), He has always topped the rankings.

I have never been so desperate to watch any game that i am now,its all due to him. The first time i saw his clip i really felt that i should watch his game and watching him live was more outstanding he is a real talent as like most of my favorites. I have always been a fan of his penalty hits( especially his faking style), but last season, he has missed some crucial penalties and it can his affect his confidence. The last game (Champ' league final) was the major game and he missed his penalty, but i am sure he will soon come out of the dark patch and will again top the league.

Anyways Ronaldo has a great season this year with 42 goals and i hope he will continue his ride in EURO2008 also. So lets hope for the best!!

A tea stall in between

It was nearly 6am and i was sleeping in the bus on the way from Akot to Pune and i just took my head out and stunned!! I haven't seen such a beautiful creature of god, means on the very dull dawn she was like making me feel fresh. She may not be the most beautiful lady i have seen but she has something that can attract anybody and i think that was her hairs, while everybody on that tea stall is looking crap with their hairs messed up she was looking comely with her golden hairs. My god i was feeling proud that i like tea. Actually in the last week, i got to see some very good girls and i have observed a fact that the village girls have better looks than the so called city girls.

Any ways i had a fantastic last week at home, felt better after a long time.

Star Party

Guys i have attended the star party organized by Astronomy club and i must tell you it was really very cool. They have shown and explained some constellations and some short stories behind them, overall it was a good experience.

gSoC is not easy

I have just filled an application form for Google Summer of code. And i found that the competition is really very tough because all the mentoring organizations are very reputed open source organizations. And it will surely not be easy to get selected in such tough conditions, i have to try really hard.

Currently i have posted one application for Ruby central. I will not discuss the project here, but believe me its gonna be a tough contender. The project idea is really good but i need to write that effectively as well. I dont know what is going to happen but i just hope i will be selected, If not still will be working on the project because the project will help many new developers to come and contribute to the open source society.

The One's Quiz

Sometimes you feel really bad on what you have done, but this is not the case with me these days.I have changed a lot. Gone were the days when people used to say "I will ask you the answer at last,cuz i know i will surely get it." and now they say "you do not give importance to academics!", what's up guys gimme a break. I should think about it very seriously on such a crucial stage of my life, because placements are on the way, Sem is going to end soon and i have to cover as many marks as i can in this Sem only.
Today's issue was really going to be memorable, I got the sign on OS lab file at 3:30pm and then i was so tired that i slept and when woke up, its all over, i nearly lost my quiz. The quiz was started at 5:30pm and i reached there at 5:59pm and ma'm said "One min remaining". I was pretty sure that ma'm will not allow any of my reasons, so i just surrendered and asked for five minutes for the quiz, i was so lucky to get that, Mrunal was really backing me up.Thank god i atleast got the chance to give the test. Though i dont know how many marks i will secure, but i will never forget this moment of my life.

The best day..

Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. From last few days i had been worried about my project, COEP website, Think tank and everything, I was so tensed that even i started waking up early morning. But yesterday each of these problems were like... gone. I was so happy that my project Diskless Booting is now complete, My COEP website is now launched and ThinkTank got a way into Institute of Engineers.

The 80th REGATTA

The K2 collapsed.......

Organisers tensed........

I thought its over, but they stood up again and fought for pride... That's COEPian,I salute them as well.Well for those who dont know what Regatta is? Its the "SHAAN" of COEP, The annual function organised by COEP Boat Club. COEP Boat club is the only boat club of its kind in India, and we organise the annual Regatta function with lots of hardwork and efforts.

This year there were two extra shows to be added and they have done a great job. There are lots of shows like Kayak Ballet, Punt Formation,Mashal Dance, Telematches,arrow formation, Diamond formation, etc. And the two new entries were Lighted Diamond formation and Lighted KB. All the shows were awesome this year and all of them require lots of guts to perform and i think guys really deserve a big round of applause (which they have got).

During Mashal Dance, everything was going perfectly alright and suddenly something happened and the fire came in, I dont know how but it looked quite a bit shocking but again the MD members shown great positive temperament and continued the show, great work again. I think its team work that make such changes in the behaviour of the person. I should also mention Punt Formation here, in which i have participated in my First Year(Its only for freshers). Great passion and dedication is required to do this event also, and i think they done the job marvelously. Superb work teams.

The History and Fate of the Universe

Hello all,

This year COEP has witnessed another great day in its history when Nobel Laureate Dr. George F. Smoot has arrived to COEP for his special lecture on "The History and Fate of the Universe". It was a great experience to meet person like him and his lecture has aspired many of us to change their thoughts about universe and "Physics" also. All the event has been sponsored and managed by Honeywell (Well they have given us a college bag as well.) , But the COEP students from Astronomy Club have also worked hard to manage all the event.

Talking bout Dr. George Smoot, He was co-awarded the 2006 Nobel prize in Physics for discovery of the blackbody form and aniostropy of the cosmic microwave background radiation. Currently Dr. Smoot conducts research in astrophysics and observational cosmology and is most famous for his research on the cosmic background radiation.This radiation is thought to be the relic of the intense heat of the early Big Bang.

About the topic, The History and Fate of the Universe says--

"Using our most advanced techniques and instruments we sift through relic clues and evidence to understand the events surrounding the birth and subsequent development of the universe. Hey guys, Today we had an ebullient "Traditional Day". All the boys and girls have come to BC for participating in the enlightened and delightful night, wearing there traditional clothings(Girls in Sarees). But the hell, I was again striving for a "kurta" this year, Because it feels awkward to go in different getup when all were in traditional uniform,But thanks to so many people like me that think "we should eschew the uniformness, be different and don't get hurt at all".

Blah blah blah... All these things were trifling in contention with what i have enjoyed there, sometimes i feel, evening teasers are not bad guys cuz in short we do the same(Joking!!). But the night was made sumptuous by some guys acting like DJs. Great day and great "sarees". In short i enjoyed one of the magnificent day of my life.

Linux getting wobbled

Hey now this is called attitude uh.. Have you seen those Desktop effects in Ubuntu and Fedora. Feels good that at least some one is taking care to improve the look and feel of linux i was striving for those effects.

If you have seen these effects you might not want to pay Microsoft for vista. Because these effects are far more real than just the glass effect so i think microsoft should think about it.

ParallelFX contains new APIs to make programming on the .Net Framework simpler and to support documentation and samples. Microsoft's S. "Soma" Somasegar wrote in a blog post that ParallelFX runs on the .Net Framework 3.5 and relies on features available in C# 3.0 and Visual Basic 9.0. ParallelFX also includes imperative data and task parallelism APIs, including parallel "for" and "foreach" loops, to make the transition from sequential to parallel programs simpler, as well as declarative data parallelism in the form of data parallel implementation of LINQ-to-Objects, which allows users to run LINQ queries on multiple processors. A new MSDN center dedicated to concurrent programming was also launched with the ParallelFX release and features a collection of whitepapers, including one that describes the broader vision for parallel computing at Microsoft. Now this is a new opportunity i have got to improve my knowledge and its not like an ordinary thing, The great Sun microsystems has given me opportunity to work for Open Source organization and contribute to the enormously increasing technology. I have been selected as a team member in the Sun club starting at COEP. In this club we will be working for awareness and demonstration of many Open Source softwares developed by Sun microsystems. Initially i may be working for OpenSolaris , Which is an excellent Operating system developed by Sun.

There are lots of things to be done and to be planned. We might be taking some seminars and hands-on sessions to motivate students to use the Open source products and mostly to learn new open source technology because everyday there is something new being introduced to the world , So we should be able to use the appropriate and latest technology for the particular application. And we are trying to make such environment in our college, I hope it'll come to use for lots of developers.

Linux has always been a word of attraction to me and every time I look for any thing better to tell you about.And now I have got a great news . Linux programmers are making Linux computers more power efficient by creating a "tickless" kernel that abandons traditional time-keeping methods for a more power-friendly technique. Intel is also developing a power saver, called PowerTop, that makes it easier for users to know what software is needlessly keeping a computer's processor running.The tickless kernel is already making its way into the Linux mainstream. Intel programmer and longtime kernel developer Arjan van de Ven says a laptop running Linux now consumes 15 to
25 percent less power when idling than it did three months ago. Processors
consume a significant amount of power, frequently more than a 100-watt
light bulb, and heat reduction techniques such as air conditioning in data
centers and fans consume even more power. For some time now, processors

Oh my god i am so confused why microsoft brought a so called new programming language C#. I f anybody had seen it, it's nearly like JAVA . And I think JAVA is more powerful than that of C#, Then why should we learn a new language?

I don't know what microsoft is trying to prove, When Open-source (SUN) has developed JAVA, a portable programming language, then only MS launched C# to overcome it,but failed. MS says that there .NET framework provides portability to any kind of program by the use of CLR , but i suspect how they are gonna run any program on LINUX, Solaris, or Mac OSX means do they have any type of CLR for these OS ?

If you have read my complete bio-data you might have come to know that i am very much interested in webdesigning. Now i am getting many projects like a College website, A techfest website and much more, I am very delighted but its not what i want, i want to earn through this. But still i think its my learning period and the more i learn now the more i will earn in my future. By the way this is not the topic of my post now,I want to tell you people that life is a mystery and someone who dares to go for risks will surely get success. So what you need is the only one corner to turn, or only one nice event to happen in your life in which you are ready to take chances.

In my life, i have not got any of such bright corner, but frankly speaking ,i am really confident that i will surely going to get that one very early.

Hey guys if you are thinking that i am going to give you any knowledge about how to hack a particular password or credit card or anything like that then you are totally at a wrong place,Hacking is not the thing to be taught or learnt,it is the way of thinking. To become a hacker you have to think about your way of looking at the particular thing(or software). In short no one can teach you to become a hacker , It is the self taught thing in the computer world.

But still i can give you some help about it and please note that hacking is actually done for security purposes not for changing the passwords (it is called cracking) .Here i will give some links to hacking sites that are good,and let me give you some hint...the best way to learn hacking is try learning commands of command prompt and also learn some registry editing...ex:

Now what are they looking for,I hope they are not thinking about Bermuda's win over Bangladesh. Because Bangladesh deserve to go for super eight along with Sri-Lanka. Now since from their win over India,I am looking towards them as a shining star just the same as in the last world Kenya was looking. I thought Kenya might do some strange there but the bad luck came in their way. OK let it go, lets just talk about this world cup only,There is again one new star coming in the super eight i.e Ireland. After a big win on Pakistan, they were looking quite stunning,i hope they will do something better here.

But what about India,they were looking very upset,Now i will say just don't make any promise that you cannot fulfill,last world cup was very good for indian team,and they thought this time also they will make it,now if they are thinking like this then this is an over confidence.

Okay current result is bermuda is 94 for the loss of 9 wickets.So the last hope has also gone out of reach.Bangladesh has a target of 95 in 21 overs, Now lets see what happens.....please comment.......

Why India loses every time ?

Today I was watching a match of India against SriLanka, and i seriously feel that India does not deserve to go in super eight teams. I don't like the attitude of Indian team why they still depend upon some special batsman like sachin and sehwag, means if these players dont play India will surely lose the match,and that is the crap thing in indian team. India surely has great players like sachin and dravid (they are the sung heroes of indian team), but still there are players like Kumble who had given a great contribution to indian cricket but he was always been replaced by harbhajan singh, I think they should give an equal chance to both of them and whoever plays good should be given more priority.

I think no player should be alloted more two matches to show his performance, if he doesn't play well in those two matches by any reasons he should not be allowed to play the next match.Now this rule is there but for newcomers only,I think that is not fare at all the rule should be same for all the players even for captains also. This is the only way Indian team can improve their match statistics.Now from this very defeat India should learn something and implement the rules strictly.

Today i am going to write about education systems ...
Now what exactly is the education system?
The answer is so simple ..It is the rules applied for controlling our education in the country.But why there is a difference between the education systems of different countries why particularly in India the education is completely marks and grade based.I dont think that the mark based system is good.
Suppose that a student likes a particular subject and he is really good in it.But since to get admission in that field only he has to learn the other subjects which are not of so importance for him.Then why should he learn those subjects and get deviated from his aim.Now if you know one subject very well and you are interested in making career in that field only then why there is the need for getting good marks in the remaining subjects also.
We have one very good example of such unexact thing.He was one of the greatest mathematician in India .You might have guessed right, He is "Shrinivasa Ramanujan Aiyangara",The author of "Ramanujan's journal" and the well known "number theorist".In his early stages of education he was only interested in matematics and thus got failed in all of the remaining subjects and then he had to leave his studies.Now if these things can happen with such a great person then no one is secure.

Windows or Linux:

Microsoft has just introduced their power through windows vista, the best looking operating system I have ever seen. Now some day before I have seen the launch of vista in my college itself, Vista looks really good but that is not the only point, through which they can justify the arrival of vista. There are several points and one of the main point is security. They have to take this step because linux was approaching with both a good look and security as compared to windows XP. Now we have to see one thing i.e the next step of linux, what they can do to overcome windows vista. Everyone is telling problems about vista …1)First is the high cost .2)Second is the slow implementation speed.3)Limited take up.4)Pseudo security systems.Now linux can look at some of those problems and can come up with a great looking and fast working operating system. we all know that most of the windows software can run on both linux and solaris. So they also have this advantage. Now Mac OS is also there to compete with Microsoft. If fortunately(or unfortunately?) they both could work together to get an excellent results.

Now what is going to happen in the future? we don’t know, we can just sit and watch it. But there are some people who are not just going watch it, they are going to get involved in it. I think you got it, I am talking about google. If you have observed google has been keen to launch new softwares, that are becoming popular nowadays, now won’t you get different feeling about it, I can. I think they also want to come in this battle with their own kernel, but I not sure. Lets wait and watch…
