Sun Sana Sun !!

Now this is a new opportunity i have got to improve my knowledge and its not like an ordinary thing, The great Sun microsystems has given me opportunity to work for Open Source organization and contribute to the enormously increasing technology. I have been selected as a team member in the Sun club starting at COEP. In this club we will be working for awareness and demonstration of many Open Source softwares developed by Sun microsystems. Initially i may be working for OpenSolaris , Which is an excellent Operating system developed by Sun.

There are lots of things to be done and to be planned. We might be taking some seminars and hands-on sessions to motivate students to use the Open source products and mostly to learn new open source technology because everyday there is something new being introduced to the world , So we should be able to use the appropriate and latest technology for the particular application. And we are trying to make such environment in our college, I hope it'll come to use for lots of developers.

Linux.. now power efficient

Linux has always been a word of attraction to me and every time I look for any thing better to tell you about.And now I have got a great news . Linux programmers are making Linux computers more power efficient by creating a "tickless" kernel that abandons traditional time-keeping methods for a more power-friendly technique. Intel is also developing a power saver, called PowerTop, that makes it easier for users to know what software is needlessly keeping a computer's processor running.The tickless kernel is already making its way into the Linux mainstream. Intel programmer and longtime kernel developer Arjan van de Ven says a laptop running Linux now consumes 15 to
25 percent less power when idling than it did three months ago. Processors
consume a significant amount of power, frequently more than a 100-watt
light bulb, and heat reduction techniques such as air conditioning in data
centers and fans consume even more power. For some time now, processors
have been able to enter power-saving modes when a user sets the computer
to standby mode, but more can be done.

Oh my god i am so confused why microsoft brought a so called new programming language C#. I f anybody had seen it, it's nearly like JAVA . And I think JAVA is more powerful than that of C#, Then why should we learn a new language?

I don't know what microsoft is trying to prove, When Open-source (SUN) has developed JAVA, a portable programming language, then only MS launched C# to overcome it,but failed. MS says that there .NET framework provides portability to any kind of program by the use of CLR , but i suspect how they are gonna run any program on LINUX, Solaris, or Mac OSX means do they have any type of CLR for these OS ?

A nice event

If you have read my complete bio-data you might have come to know that i am very much interested in webdesigning. Now i am getting many projects like a College website, A techfest website and much more, I am very delighted but its not what i want, i want to earn through this. But still i think its my learning period and the more i learn now the more i will earn in my future. By the way this is not the topic of my post now,I want to tell you people that life is a mystery and someone who dares to go for risks will surely get success. So what you need is the only one corner to turn, or only one nice event to happen in your life in which you are ready to take chances.

In my life, i have not got any of such bright corner, but frankly speaking ,i am really confident that i will surely going to get that one very early.

Hacking no way!!

Hey guys if you are thinking that i am going to give you any knowledge about how to hack a particular password or credit card or anything like that then you are totally at a wrong place,Hacking is not the thing to be taught or learnt,it is the way of thinking. To become a hacker you have to think about your way of looking at the particular thing(or software). In short no one can teach you to become a hacker , It is the self taught thing in the computer world.

But still i can give you some help about it and please note that hacking is actually done for security purposes not for changing the passwords (it is called cracking) .Here i will give some links to hacking sites that are good,and let me give you some hint...the best way to learn hacking is try learning commands of command prompt and also learn some registry editing...ex:

START>run>type"regedit">HKEY_CURRENTUSER>controlpanel>desktop>[right side]hungapplicationtimeout>right click 'modify'>make value to 1000>then click OK.On Right side:right click "menu show delay",make it 80.

Then on right side,right click on

"waytokillapptimeout" modify,change value from 20000 to 3000.
