ढगाळलेले आकाश
अंधारात राहण्याची सवय होती मला,
प्रकाश पडला तर डोळे पांढरे व्हायचे.
पण तो दिवस काही वेगळाच होता,
ढगाळलेल्या आकाशात एक चंद्रमा दिसला.


काही दिवस वाटलं कि हा पौर्णिमेचा चंद्र,
येईल राहील आणि आभास सोडून जाईल.
पण त्या चंद्राचा रंग काही वेगळाच होता,
दगडावरील रेषेसारखा पक्का मनात ठसला.

ते ढग आता पुन्हा परत आले आहेत,
गेल्या वर्षभराच्या पावसाने सर्व दगड झीझले आहेत.
तरी त्या चंद्राची आठवण मनातून जात नाही,
आणि ढगाळलेल्या आकाशात त्याची प्रतिमाही दिसत नाही.

The 25th Hour

Software industries are growing day by day. Now if we think a bit more on this, what does it mean by "Growing". Well they just add something new to their existing awesome software.

So i went mad some day and i thought about the "world". Why does the world does not grow? uh? that was wierd... but lets just imagine that if god would want to add something new to his existing software(?), what would he do?

You got it(that doesn't mean you are kinda brainy or something).He will surely think about having an extra hour.

So let's say GOD want to have a new 25th hour developed with latest technologies(or something), what are the features he should give?(show your System engineering talents in comments ;))

Now as I am the one writing this, I'll have the honour to ask for following features -

• First and the most important thing is "add this hour to the night and not to the day" cuz i don't want to spend another hour in company.
• May be if you can "Mute" everything(not people) for this time, it will be really cool cuz i seriously want some peace of mind.
• Let people talk only truth for this hour, it will be interesting to hear some confessions. (Atleast all the fake people will be identified).
• I don't want all those boring people around me who make me cry, atleast for this special hour.
• Let "innovation and creativity" flow through the air, and make this whole world like "Silicon Valley".

Funny Lift algorithm

I was observing the lifts in our tower, at night they seem to follow a very funny and innovative algorithm.
So lets think about it and compare it with traditional algorithm. So first comes the "Nomenclature":
The new algorithm : Funny algorithm(FA)
The traditional one : Not so Funny algorithm(NFA).
Note : no rights reserved. You can use these names wherever you want.

The NFAs generally are zero logic algorithms, i.e whenever you press the button the nearest lift will come. So in worst case the distance traveled by the lift is twice the total number of floors.

Now how FA works is : say there are three lifts in a 6 floor building so in "idle" case the lifts will stay at particular floors only say 0, 2 and 4. Now that means when i want to go to 0th floor from 3rd floor, the lift at 2nd floor will come and drop me to 0th floor and then as an obedient servant will go again to 2nd floor.....Howzzat(I have seen it).
In this case also the worst case distance traveled is twice the total number of floors but what is best is the waiting time is saved for the person who uses it. :)

SO that is really cool...

Current Microblogs and Blogs

I don't like any of the current Blogging / Microblogging sites,
not because their interface is not upto the mark,
not because they don't give lot of functionality,
not because most of them don't let me put ads on them,
not because they don't give me more reputation.

But i have a very genuine and powerful reason, "Nobody reads my posts on it" :(
